Spina Bifida of Greater New Orleans is a 501 (3) is a nonprofit organization that relies on donation to meet the needs of our organization. Your help is needed to keep this chapter alive!

For over 25 years SBGNO has responded to the needs of new parents of babies born with Spina Bifida, families who are growing up with the challenges of Spina Bifida, teens who are transitioning toward newfound independence and adults who are leading productive and fulfilling lives.

SBGNO is committed to securing a better life for those who live with Spina Bifida. They deserve nothing less. With your help we will continue to change lives through advocacy, education, public awareness and research, taking action to enrich the present and inspire hope for the future.

You can help SBGNO help individuals with Spina Bifida by making a tax deductible donation for any amount you wish. When you make a donation, you are supporting an organization that promotes a better life and future for individuals with Spina Bifida and their families. Consider making a donation in honor of a special occasion, in memory of a loved one, to thank a special person or to simply show your support for SBGNO and the work we do.

Your generous gift of:

    $365    will cover the cost of postage of our newsletter

    $350    will cover the registration to the National Spina Bifida Conference

    $275    will cover the cost of sending a kid to Camp Friendship for the week

    $250    will cover the cost of a meal at Camp Friendship

    $100    will cover the cost of educational material for a new family

    $75      will cover the cost of 3 months of our phone bill

    $50     will cover the cost of office supplies for a month

How to make your taxable donation

Ask your employer about matching gift for your donation, many employers are now matching employee gifts, which means double the donation. Once we receive your donation, you will receive a letter acknowledging your donation and giving you our tax identification number for your income tax purposes.
